David grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and started riding a small tricycle at the age of 5. It wasn’t until the age of 10, when he got his first bicycle from Toys “R” Us, that he truly discovered his love for cycling. From there, his passion for cycling only grew, eventually leading him to learn unicycling.
His brother later taught him how to ride a unicycle, and he has been unicycling for over a decade. At first, David rode a traditional chain-driven unicycle, but the chain constantly broke.
Frustrated yet determined, he set out to invent something new. That pursuit led him to design a completely different type of cycle one where the wheels propel each other. In doing so, he became the only professional three-wheeled unicyclist in the world.
David is recognized as the only mainstream tri-unicyclist globally. He rides a distinctive three-wheeled unicycle that operates without electricity, chains, brakes, or handlebars. Instead, it relies on a gear-like mechanism that enables the wheels to move in perfect synchronization.
David’s extraordinary mode of transportation and captivating performances have been featured in notable publications such as West Side Rag, Jersey City Times, and W42ST.nyc. He has also been Interviewed by John Elliott on a major television network, CBS New York.
Known as The Three Wheel Man, David is on a determined mission to challenge the dominance of his two-wheeled arch-nemesis: the bicycle.
